Jurie Neethling, aka Vetman, is a graphic designer and self-taught photographer from Cape Town. His passion for music and photography has lead him to become one of South Africa’s finest live photographers.

Vetman has been premium music website, SA Music Scene’s main photographer and designer for 6 years and has acted as official photographer at some of SA’s biggest events, like RAMfest, One Night in Cape Town, Cape Town Carnival and Afrikaans is Groot. He has traveled the country to immortalize the likes of Francois van Coke, Jack Parow, Die Heuwels Fantasties and top international acts such as Biffy Clyro, Eagles Of Death Metal, Bring me the Horizon, Rise Against, Fouls, Skrillex and more.

Vetman has done design work on albums for Taxi Violence, Stoker, Bulletscript and Southern Wild. He also designs CD covers, logos and posters. Other skills include being a professional beard-grower and a hashtagger of note.

He currently works as a graphic designer and trend researcher at the Foschini Group and after hours he can be found photographing the cream of Cape Town’s local talent.
